MLC bats for more tourism growth in Bhaderwah , inspects works | KNO

BHADERWAH,DEC 14 (KNO) : There is need for full-fledged development of tourism industry in Bhaderwah sub district , Member Legislative Council Naresh Kumar Gupta said who is also chairman of the standing committee of tourism department after inspecting the various ongoing developmental works of the Bhaderwah Development Authority . On the occasion, Chief Executive Officer Bhaderwah Development Authority Dr Rajinder Kumar Khajuria sought cooperation of MLC in developing more tourism in the Bhaderwah district. “We have identified few more spots for torusim development. These spots once developed will in turn generate employment and revenue,” he said. The MLC asked the officials of BDA to provide better facilities for the tourists. “These tourist spots would provide immense joy to the future generations,” he said.He asked the officials concerned to develop tourism through a planned approach.MLC assured all possible help from him and said he will meet Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti so that more funds will be released . MLC also expressed satisfaction over the awareness campaign and developmental works launched by authority to boost tourism sector of Bhaderwah. (KNO)
